Product Description

The 2nd class Faststamps were first sold from Post and Go machines at Spring Stampex 2013 for two values - 2nd Class, and 2nd class Large.

The intention was that they would start to be rolled out to Post Office branches in March. This didn't happen and the first reappearance was in the Post Office's Pop-Up Post Office which toured the country in November/December 2013. The first ones sold were the originals with a year code of MA12, but stock coded MA13 was also installed in both machines on the first day at Newcastle (20 November).

This is a pair from machine A4 with year code MA13. Single 2nd class also available for people who only want a single lowest value stamp of each version.

Original Newcastle stock is now sold out; this stock is from Westfield Shopping Centre, London W12 at the end of the 'tour'.

(The bureau pack was produced using Hytech machine C2, the Stampex ones using machine B2.)
