5 August 2008 Beijing Olympics Stamp Expo Smilers Sheet
As with all international stamp exhibitions Royal Mail is issuing a generic Smilers Sheet for the Beijing Olympic Expo.
The sheet is being issued 3 days before the show starts, the show runs from 8 - 18 August 2008.
This sheet - like previous Expo sheets - is printed in litho by Cartor of France. The labels show 10 different traditional Chinese Lanterns.
The sheet consists of 20 x 1st class stamps with 2 sets of 10 attached labels which depict Chinese lanterns. One of these is decorated for the Year of the Rat.
The sheet was designed by Hat Trick design group of London and is printed in litho by Cartor of France.
