A set of 10 stamps was issued picturing notable comedians or comedy partnerships. Two of the stamps were also issued in a Retail booklet containing 6 stamps, 4 x 1st class red definitives with security codes MCIL M15L and 1st class stamps showing Norman Wisdom and Morecambe & Wise
This is the pair of self-adhesive stamps from the booklet on Royal Mail first day cover, with the Ernest Street Birmingham postmark for the day of issue.
