21 June 2005 - White Ensign Generic Smilers Sheet - Norvic FDC Limited edition of 10 setsFollowing the 'Rule Britannia' Smilers sheet issued in 2004, Royal Mail issued one using the White Ensign Flag stamp, with naval signal flags on the labels and a nautical chart as the background.
This Norvic cover shows a large White Ensign and a piece of public sculpture showing signal flags. The stamps are cancelled with a postmark from Portsmouth, the location of one of the Navy's major Naval Bases. The postmark shows the Mary Rose.
Options:
