9 May 2013 - 150th Anniversary of the Football Association Machins from prestige stamp book and retail booklet on FDCRoyal Mail marked the 150th anniversary of the founding of The Football Association as well as 140 years of The Scottish Football Association with a set of 11 stamps, a miniature sheet, a retail booklet, and a prestige stamp book (PSB).
The PSB contained two definitive panes with new Machin definitives. One pane contained the 1p & 1st class red (and country definitives), the other pane contained the 2p, 5p, and 10p all on gummed paper with security codes MPIL and M13L.The self-adhesive retail booklet contained 2 footballer stamps and 4 x 1st class red, the latter having security codes MCIL and M13L.
This the Royal Mail Football Heroes first day cover with the six stamps, and a Football Heroes Wembley pictorial postmark.
