2013 marks the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, the longest-running science fiction series in the world; the first episode was broadcast on 23 November 1963.Royal Mail celebrate the anniversary with

This is the self-adhesive 1st class Tardis stamp from the retail booklet printed by Walsall Security Printers.
The stamp is perforated 14¾ x 14, with 4.5mm phosphor bands on either side.
The image dimensions are 17.5 x 21.5 mm, which is 0.5 mm larger on each dimension, than the similar stamps from other sources in this issue.
