26th March 2013 - 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who TV series, Machins from prestige stamp book on FDCRoyal Mail celebrated the 50th anniversary of the world’s longest running science fiction series in TV history - Doctor Who - with a special set of 11 stamps, a miniature sheet, a retail booklet, and a prestige stamp book (PSB).
As usual the PSB contained a definitive pane with some new Machin definitives. The 5p, 10p 20p & 87p are on gummed paper with security codes MPIL and M12L (indicating that the countract was placed in 2012).
