The Diamond Jubilee ‘Machin’ features Arnold Machin’s iconic image on a blue background that highlights the words ‘Diamond Jubilee’ in iridescent ink.
Very late in the year the final Diamond Jubilee booklet, 6 x 1st Machins, was issued on 1 October, just a week after a railway booklet and a month before the Christmas booklets. Consequently it had limited exposure in Post Office branches until early in 20131
