2nd class Machin FDC with Stampex postmarkOn the first day of Spring Stampex 2013 (20 February) a new Machin Faststamp was introduced printed blue with one phosphor bar for 2nd Class, and 2nd class Large.
The intention was that they would start to be rolled out to Post Office branches in March but as of July 2013 this has not happened. This means that they will first be available from Hytech machines (v2) and only later from Wincor-Nixdorf machines in Post Offices. The bureau pack was produced using Hytech machine C2, the Stampex ones using machine B2.
This is a pair of the Bureau Pack stamps on Royal Mail Post & Go fdc with the Spring Stampex first day of issue postmark.
