9 May 2013A Royal Mail stamp issue marked the 150th anniversary of the founding of The Football Association as well as 140 years of The Scottish Football Association included a set of 11 stamps, miniature sheet, retail booklet and prestige stamp booklet.
This is the 1st class Wales Flag stamp from the prestige book pane 1. This stamp previously appeared on gummed paper in the Celebrating Wales miniature sheet, and self-adhesive in several generic Smilers sheets. This is the first time it has been issued as a stand-alone stamp and will get full catalogue numbering.
