18 September 2008 Royal Mail issued an RAF military uniforms set marking the 90th anniversary of the creation of the Royal Air Force
The associated prestige stamp book included a pane of four aircraft stamps, 2 x 1st class Red Arrows display from the Air Displays set, and 2 x 20p stamps from tthe 1997 Architects of the Air issue.
1st Class - The Red Arrows
The Red Arrows are the RAF's aerobatic display team. Formed in 1965 they have performed at over 4000 displays in 53 countries. This photograph was taken at the Dartmouth Airshow in 2006. Photograph by Leigh Harris.
