Product Description
31 August 2006 - Year of the Three Kings Royal Mail FDCA Miniature Sheet issued by Royal Mail to mark the Year of the Three Kings, 1936, when King George V died, Edward VIII abdicated and George VI ascended the throne.
The miniature sheet contains a single £3 Machin definitive, and non-postally valid reproductions of the 1d red King George V (photogravure), King Edward VIII, and King George VI stamps. In the corner of the sheet are national floral emblems as shown on the King George VI stamp designed by Eric Gill.
As the £3 stamp has been issued previously, Royal Mail produced a Commemorative Cover for this sheet and no official First Day Cover.
On this cover the sheet is cancelled with the Windsor Castle postmark.
