6 April 2004 - Entente Cordiale - Royal Mail FDCThe Centenary of the Entente Cordiale between the United Kingdom and France was commemorated by Royal Mail and La Poste by the issue of a set of two stamps in both countries, featuring contemporary British and French paintings.
The 28p and 0,75euro stamps feature 'Lace 1 (trial proof) 1968' by Sir Terry Frost, while the 57p and 0,50 euro stamps show 'Coccinelle' by Sonia Delaunay.
The stamps are cancelled with postmark of London SW1 showing the flags of France & the UK
