15 September 2015 - Battle of Britain Day - 75th anniversary.Although Battle of Britain day is 15 September Royal Mail issued new stamps for the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain in July because that is when the campaign started.
The stamp used on this card also shows the Spitfire and was issued 13 January 2009 as part of the Design Classics set.

Because of the type of handstamp and type of ink used by the British Forces Philatelic Service, the postmark has not reproduced particularly well, so our price for these is lower than normal.
