5 May 2011 - 150th anniversary of William Morris and CompanyThe prestige stamp book issued with the Wm Morris stamp set included a pane of 4 x 2nd class Christmas stamps in the 2009 design, which was designed by Morris.
These stamps were also originally issued in self-adhesive form with a conventionally gummed stamp in the miniature sheet. As these are conventionally gummed, this is a collectably new stamp listed as SG 3186a.
The Royal Mail fdc is postmarked with a Walthamstow postmark depicting a portrait of Morris.
