19 February 2015 - Machin definitives from Inventive Britain PSB on First Day CoverThe Inventive Britain stamp issue included a prestige stamp book containing 12 special stamps and a pane of 8 x Machin definitives - 2 x 1p, 3 x 2p, 1 x 81p, 2 x 97p. Although issued in 2015 these were printed in 2014 and have security codes MPIL M14L.
Set of 4 singles on Inventive Britain Royal Mail fdc with Stampex Inventive Britain first day of issue postmark.
The 81p was printed in turquoise-green instead of emerald green due to an error by printers Cartor. But as the entire print run was wrong, this does not make it any scarcer.
We are initialling selling these stamps as a set of 4. The Norvic catalogue numbers are
4001P.4 - 1p
4002P.4 - 2p
4081P.4 - 81p
4097P.4 - 97p
Stanley Gibbons numbers not yet known for the higher values, but U3010 and U3011 for the 1p and 2p, which have already been used for prior years' stamps.
